Welcome to Shepherds Heart Christian School (SHCS). We consider it a blessing to be able to help assist families in the privilege of equipping and educating your children. God's precious Word places that main responsibility at the feet of the parents (Ephesians 6:4). Because of this, SHCS sees itself as an extension of the Family where parental involvement is essential and ordained by God. In the Great Commission, Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel and disciple others . What better place to start than with our families and here with our children?!

We have designed each classroom according to the children that God has given us to disciple and teach. The curriculum being used is a collection of some of the best Christian curriculum available to us. This allows us to have a better rounded, Biblically solid, Christ-centered program. Our teachers are dedicated individuals who have prayerfully sought the Lord's guidance concerning their position here at the school and consider it a true ministry of the Lord. Class sizes are small at 3-12 students each.
We believe and understand every child is designed by our Lord with unique gifts and strengths, as well as weaknesses to overcome. That is why we design our classrooms around the students that God has given us, rather than the traditional academic box. Each child has a written plan each year with goals and the levels they will be accomplishing. To do this, we believe the Lord has lead us to keep our classroom sizes small, 3-12 in each class. This allows us to truly know each child's needs, strengths and learning style.
